Everyone has got dreams, goals and all the happy thoughts that you can phantom. But the truth is everyone has got pain. In our fast evolving world, there comes the urge to vent these feelings out. Many times, you want to speak with a friend or scream out, so the whole world would know what you are going through. Well I have those feelings too and that is one of the major reasons for starting this online journal. I hope you can identify with a lot of the stuff you find here. The catch is we cannot live without hope, so let us continue to look for the silver lining in our seemly cloudy days.
After they gave birth to me, they told me my name was Tope Ayodele-Olofin, I am a boisterous, hilarious and dynamic young lady. I had series of high lofty dreams, one of which was to skip school. However, that dream was shattered because education is top priority where I come, so I succumbed to the norm and had my major in English Language. But my love for the computer world was much stronger. I abandoned most of the polished education I gained at school, once my final paper was over. Before the death of my dad, I lived in a world of fantasy, where the grass was always green and nothing could go wrong. I guess the boogey man reminded me that all was a façade. Though I faced such a tragedy in life, it went a long way in shaping my inner voice. So I guess, going to the University paid off in the end.
Then I went for street education, and I became a twitter maniac, blogging guru, an app developer, wedding crasher and all round RANTER. If you push my buttons, I can be crazily funny too.
Another forward and undying dream of mine was to be darn good writer, a goal I intend to achieve with Top E-rants. Let’s hope I get that done before the year runs out on me. And who knows, I might just get my five minutes of spotlight on CNN.
