Armed robbers in my backyard

This is not a joke. They really are lurking in my backyard and have been raiding my place for the past say 20 something years, or should I say from the moment I became aware of myself and the whole world around me. Strangely I hear they raid just about anyone’s place on the face of the earth. So it’s not just me.

These robbers all belong to one gang and their chief aim is to rob human beings of joy, happiness and success. As if that is not obvious.  Before I expose them all, let’s do a little exercise.

How many of you would like to make an extra income right now? If you are a sane human being, your answer will be a definite ‘yes‘. Yes I am aware that there is always that small exception of wacko individuals that would say otherwise.

But if we all are looking for a little extra income, what is the problem? In my opinion, it is fear. What if this doesn’t go well, what if I lose all I have saved, what if my friends laugh at me?  Fear of the unknown. Along with Fear comes its brother Doubt. You begin to doubt your God-given abilities.

Yes, you guessed right, the robbers are Fear and Doubt.

Oh yes, they both have been running this business for decades and few have dared to challenged them. Thank goodness for Master Minds, who decided to challenge their surrounds and break free from this chaotic way of life.  Hmmmn, we should take a closer look at this extra ordinary folks who are challenging the norm. Who are they? Where can we find them?

The secret is they are all around us. They are the successful people you see challenging the norms and exploring the world outside their comfort zone. So I am thinking, if they chose not to live under the oppression of these armed robbers, so can I. They have dealt with the robbers and I fully intend to do just that.

I had the opportunity to mingle with a few of these successful guys at the MasterMind7 Event, that took place in Houston Texas and I realized these folks had to battle with the same hideous men of the night. Our only difference was mindset. These successful folks believed they could achieve anything….I was still seating on the fence whining and complaining. I even had to pinch a few to make sure they were real, but alas my suspicion was truncated, because I discovered they are as real as they are ever going to get.

I guess that’s where I had my breakthrough. I’d like to borrow a phrase I got from the movie “Colored Girls“. Here it goes…..I said to myself “Sweetie, there is too much life wrapped up in your voice, you’ve got to get up from here”

So here I am, intent on achieving everything on my vision board. I intend to do a write up on some of the speakers like Randy Gage(my favorite guy), Orrin Woodward (His book “Resolved” is a must have), Donna Johnson, Tom ‘Big Al’ Schreter and so many others. They all were gracious enough to let out some of the key tactics they used in conquering these guys. So be on the lookout for the nuggets that will either bore or get you fighting’em armed robbers in your backyard. Let’s take’em people.
