Seriously, if I had the permission to, I would just lift the entire chapter 3 of Orrin Woodward’s book Resolved. And you guessed right, he is the next person I would be speaking on. I am just bursting with excitement as I am writing this. I think it must be the magnetic power that he possesses.
Before I go off point, let’s take a closer look at issues he addressed. He took us on a journey through his new book, as he progressed; I think I got lost when he began to address the issue of attitude.
He unveiled the human mind to us and showed us that in there a battle is always on. There is a positive and a negative voice. Each one striving to be the one that is outstanding, however you determine which you tune down or up. You decided which of the voices you feed. Feeding the positive is developing a positive attitude and doing the opposite is, well you can complete the sentence, because I am not going to.
I slumped in my seat for another 15 seconds, trying to soak in what I had just heard. I could hear his voice slowly coming back, and my senses picked up the next statements that came out of this genius mouth “Attitude is more important than facts…your thinking is more important than the actual event, since the event happens only once” You decide how you interpret whatever happens to you and that in turns determines your outcome in the future. No wonder a wise man once said “you make up your life as you go“
This line alone is enough to change the course of my life or anyone reading this article. Do you realize at this point you can decide to change your destiny, but having a positive attitude towards life and all that you will ever encounter, after all the mind gives you the liberty to make up your own story. The underlying principle is to shift focus off the negative aspect of whatever situation you are in and zero in on the positive aspect. I was having a rebirth. The truth is I wrote down my three life goals right there. And don’t you worry; you will all see them achieved by the next Master Mind Event in 2012.
We are capable of doing great things, is it a wonder that Napoleon Hill, challenged us all to Think and Grow Rich. Let’s all dare to challenge the current norms, by developing a positive outlook to live and an attitude of gratitude.
