Everything goes wrong on Monday mornings and that is probably why I spent the entire morning trying to open Microsoft Word. Don’t worry I will move over to a Mac, as soon as I more money and less month. In the meantime, I am making do.
I know I am supposed to be reporting back on my findings…did I forget to mention that I successfully booked an interview with one of the biggest boys in town? Yes and I am proud of myself. However, I had to sit through four good hours of lecture. And yes my ulcer began to cry out, but what could I do? I might not be able to get another chance at this. I definitely told him to sharrap…now I am not even sure it is a him. We fought for a while, but I am the one facing the outside world, so my lil’ulcer didn’t have a choice.
I had Sir Thompson from EntrepreneursHunt with me as well. Being a more refined fellow as opposed to the crude gal I can be, he sparked off the conversation, why I stared in amazement at the gigantic edifice this business tycoon had erected for himself and his family. After I got my bearing, I was able to drag my attention back to what he was saying. We eventually ended the day by going for a ride in his BMW…see
Can you guess who it is? If you can’t, don’t bother. I feel we should just focus more on the values we learnt that day. But as Babaginda said, “every man has a price”, I am included ooooh. Long story short, I am still willing to sell out if and only if you pay for the information.
In all the excitement, there is a thought that has lingered with me. He spoke about Africa and how we literally take the scripture that says “Be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth” to just mean child birth…He said it is that and much more.
He went on further to explain that
- The fruit of the womb is children
- The fruit of the brain is ideas
- The fruit of spirit is character
Another a couple of other that I can’t remember. He then turned to me and asked “what is your brain child? I can’t tell you what it is. You are going to have to figure it out. That is what is lacking with the youth of today. No one want to task themselves and come up with that brain child that will set you on your path to success. You need to make Lazy your enemy”
Now that I am aware of it, I think it is time I take care of it!
Have a great week ahead folks and don’t forget to follow me on twitter, I am @toperants.

Tales , youths be looming to make it and have a brigther future at any cost …thus seeking the easy way out……. (Why task my self) major thought of 7/10 nigerian youth now! When our leaders lavish the nations wealth! Food for thought …
A Lazy man will always look for someone to blame. People are making waves even with them NASTY, MEAN leaders. Quit complaining! Isnt Fashola a breath of fresh air?
I once heard a girl say… “Sit down there and be complaining that all men are useless, while your mates keep getting married every Saturday”. Your attitude brings the result! Shikena!
Brillant
