It has been a week since Mrs. Kato’s wedding and I didn’t even give myself the chance to brag about my trip to Kaduna, Abuja or the fact that I was the maid of honor.
You know me pretty well and the blame goes to my job. It didn’t allow me do anything apart from seat at the desk and wish I was anywhere but there. No need to dwell on that.
So how was your trip Tope…I decided to ask myself, since you were slowing in doing so.
Well for one thing, I decided that in the future, it is more cost effective to spend about 15,000 each on airfare for the eight boys I am going to have and bring’em on vacation to Abuja, rather than take them round the mountains of Colorado, Arizona and Utah, because we have got about the same scenery….since I am Nigerian, and very opinionated, I am given to think that ours is way better and the air here is fresher…take a look at this beauty….
I still don’t see why there is so much fuss about the United States. Can you beat this?
Too bad I could not capture the adorable odor of sand and grass mixed together; I guess technology hasn’t evolved to that level yet, so your imagination would have to do. I couldn’t take lots of pictures as well, because my phones were undergoing rejuvenation. Thanks to Miss Okoruwa who was gracious enough to lend me hers. Okay, enough of the yapping.
Today’s write-up is a bouquet to my friend, Mrs. Gloria Kato, who had me gallivanting all over Nigeria just to get to her wedding on time, I owe my exposure of the north to her. I have always believed that the more of the world I see, the richer I become. I got a chance to see how beauty my Nigeria is. So thanks Gloria and to Yohana, her beloved…I am still getting to know you. Your bouquet will probably come, but maybe at my funeral.
TO Gloria, it’s a one size fits all

Very Interesting piece Tops…..would love to see a write up on the southern region of the country. And possibly more details concerning Nigerian weddings…
That can be arranged.
Hmmm, seems you don’t travel much…. You need to go to places like kafanchan and saminaka there in kaduna. Beautiful I say!!!
Nice piece
I wanted to, but I didn’t have the time. My bed was calling for me. I don’t travel much in Nigeria you mean…you would be surprised…Thanks!
